Cannock Chase Safeguarding

Cannock Chase District Council wanted a campaign to raise awareness about adult and child abuse, encouraging people to report concerns; and the second was to raise awareness of extremism with schoolchildren.

This is just the sort of community focussed campaign we love to be part of. Though very serious topics, we used our design skills to help ensure the campaign had maximum impact.

We developed the brand for the campaign working closely with the Community Safety Partnership team. The brand, which needed to represent key groups, incorporated a heart to symbolise caring and protecting.

A range of promotional channels were used to drive key messages: posters, social media adverts & banners, vehicle advertising, advertising on plasma screens within South Staffs College & doctor’s surgeries and A7 foldable information cards which were distributed within the community.

As part of the Prevent agenda, resource packs relating to safeguarding and extremism were distributed to teachers within primary and secondary schools. Within a teacher’s pack we created a booklet of key contacts & supporting information, lesson & evaluation plans, posters, social media content and stickers.

Sean always goes above and beyond to understand client needs. He has been the design talent behind many of our public facing documents and websites. He is a joy to collaborate with, and makes working on complex initiatives such as a bespoke book or app, a joy.
