Out of It substance misuse campaign

During the pandemic in 2020/21, there was an increase in the number of young people gathering in parks and open spaces consuming alcohol and drugs.

Evidence shows that young people are often associated with anti-social behaviour/disorder issues when under the influence of alcohol or drugs. 

Cannock Chase Community Safety Partnership, working alongside Cannock Chase Council and Loudmouth Education and Theatre, developed a school engagement programme which incorporated a wider promotional campaign to educate young people about the risks and health issues associated with alcohol and substance misuse.

Daredevil Creative designed all the promotional materials for the campaign which included a logo and brand for the ‘Out of it’ campaign as well as posters, social media graphics, website banner and a schools resource pack.

The brief required a vibrant, colourful and edgy feel so we incorporated a bold header and use of angles to create impact and tied elements of the branding with previous campaigns. 

The images used, which were provided by the client, depicted the different ways that drinking alcohol or taking drugs can have on relationships, education, health and other life events. They were specifically chosen to be highly visual and impactful.
